Number 8 - Whistler Medals Plaza
Overview:
After every Whistler-based competition the world will gather to watch athletes receive their medals at the Whistler Medals Plaza, located in the heart of Whistler Village. More than half of the Olympic medals in 2010 will be awarded in Whistler ... a first for a Games mountain host venue.
Olympic broadcasters will televise the nightly medals ceremonies and the Whistler Medals Plaza will host nightly concerts as well as the Paralympic closing ceremonies.
Entrance to the Whistler Medals Plaza is by general admission ticket. A box office is located adjacent to the main entrance of the venue.
NOTE: This venue has no shelter, and you will be outside for several hours. Be prepared for very cold and wet weather. Dress appropriately, wear layers and warm pants.

19:00 - Medals presentation at Whistler Medals Plaza
